Galaxy S3 Rumour Round-Up S-Cloud to Challenge iCloud: A report on the Verge, dated 20 April, had some interesting news. Apparently Samsung could even launch its own online cloud storage facility - S-Cloud - at the Galaxy event. The claim was repeated by another source, at Maeil Business. Samsung GT-i9300 gets spotted in Brazil. Is it the Galaxy S III or a mid-range phone?

We first heard about the Samsung GT-i9300 in late March when a picture of the device was leaked. Although we don’t know for sure what that device is, many on the internet speculated that it was the upcoming Galaxy S III. That speculation was based solely on the model name. Today, Gizomodo Brazil has obtained some more pictures of the GT-i9300. The device looks the same as the one we first saw back in March with the exception of a rather large button. These new pictures obtained by Gizmodo shows a Samsung GT-i9300 with a big physical button on the bottom of the phone. Samsung GT-i9300 dummy box could host the new Galaxy S

Vietnamese website Tinhte has posted images and video of a new device, the Samsung GT-i9300, which could be an engineering sample of the next Galaxy S device set for reveal on May 3rd. Unlike the previous leak, which featured grainy photos taken on an iPad, Tinhte has a full video and gallery of the phone. As we exclusively revealed, Samsung is using dummy cases to conceal the final shape of the smartphone, but this leak gives us a clearer view than ever of what form the next-generation device will take. We've adjusted the levels of the image above to clearly expose the shell of the phone. As you can see, the outer case is not connected to the chassis in any significant way, leading us to speculate that the interior shape will be close to what we see in the final product. The clip revealed specific features about the upcoming phone, such as a 4.6-inch display sporting a resolution of 720 x 1184. Samsung's Galaxy S3 is sure to be a smooth-running device, with 1.4 GHz processor working to ensure the latest Ice Cream Sandwich operating system flows nicely. According to the leaked video, an 8-megapixel camera is also in the works, although this contradicts an earlier leaked report. On April 19th a Gizmodo Brazil source claimed the next-generation smartphone will feature a 12-megapixel camera. In the footage, the user shows that the camera resolution can be changed manually, with six different options. Users can also toy with other photography-related features, such as the white balance, ISO, metering, and outdoor visibility. The Vietnamese source added that the battery will include Near Field Communication capabilities, similar to the Galaxy Nexus device. This is a short-range wireless technology that allows certain devices to "talk" to one another, but it is primarily used for syncing, transferring data and performing transactions. When compared side-by-side to its predecessor in the video, the upcoming Galaxy S3 seems to feature a more squared-off design as opposed to the rounder shape of the S2. The soon-to-be released gadget is expected to be a modest upgrade from its predecessor, reports have said.
