Removable Camera Lens Lead New Apple Rumors and iPhone 5 Release Date

The Worldwide Developers Conference took place this week with Apple making some exciting announcements. In particular, an updated MacBook Pro was announced featuring a Retina display. However, the focus on Apple has also led to a number of new rumors emerging related to the tech giant's most highly anticipated device; the iPhone 5, and many are touting that the release date could hit as early as September 2012. Various rumors have been stirred this week, and in addition to the release date, another new rumor surrounds a removable camera lens, which could revolutionize the way users take photos with their smartphones. The rumors have been sparked by a patent application made on Thursday by Apple, for a device with a removal back panel. According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the patent application is titled "Back Panel for a Portal Electronic Device with Different Camera Lens Options." The patent application was also supported by an image of what many have assumed to be the next generation iPhone, which features a removable back cover. However, as usual Apple has remained quiet about their plans for future releases, and the company was sure to omit any device name from the application. In an abstract of the patent application Apple has said, "A removable panel is coupled to the case and held in a second defined positional relationship to the case that covers the digital imaging subsystem without the removable panel being directly connected to the digital imaging subsystem." Previous rumors surrounding the iPhone 5 have suggested the next generation device will be larger than the current 3.5 inch iPhone 4S, and could measure in at 4 inches. The enlargement could be made in response to the popularity of a number of larger Android-based devices currently on the market. Earlier this week other rumors swirled as Apple unveiled its new iOS 6. It was not confirmed when the operating system will be made available to the general public but many have suggested it will arrive in the Fall. As the iPhone 5 is likely to feature the iOS 6, critics have suggested that a Fall release date could be expected for the next generation iPhone. Although these new rumors of a removable camera lens have stirred Apple fans and blog sites, it may end up being a storm in a tea cup. Oftentimes tech companies apply for patents for ideas they have, but that in no way means those ideas will come into fruition. In fact it is often that patents are granted for ideas that are never released to the public. Nevertheless the rumor mill continues to spin, and Apple fans maintain their eager wait for more news and leaks on the new iPhone 5. wholesale accessories, ipod accessories, ipad accessories, iphone accessories

Apple Sneakily Points To iPhone 5 Release Date Via Official Announcement Of iOS 6?

iPhone 5 release date hinted with iOS6 public rollout schedule? An site explains that Apple have all but confirmed when they will be releasing the next generation iPhone which would be when they start to roll out iOS 6 in the fall. This could be the most fitting time to make the announcement as the new iPhone 5 could then be launched with iOS 6 preloaded to its advantage. iOS 6 is said to have more than 200 new features, even though some of these are very small. It makes sense that Apple would release the latest version of the iPhone at the same time as the latest version of their OS as it would give the phone more 'bragging rights' so to speak. At the moment Apple have shown us the new map app which replaces that of Google Maps and breaks the partnership the two had had since 2007. If the iPhone 5 is released along with the new operating system this would mean it would have features like turn by turn navigation when it comes out, giving it more selling points and a better marketing angle. Of course there has been no official confirmation of this happening so until the fall all fans of the iPhone can do is wait. Do you think Apple will release the iPhone 5 the same time as iOS 6 which has already been officially announced for a fall release like the Examiner points out or will it come sooner? Apple's iOS 6: Hints for iPhone 5 Release Date and Possible Features

The release of Apple's iOS 6 during the recently concluded WWDC 2012 have prompted new hints of a possible release date for the highly anticipated iPhone 5. Aside from that, there are also rumors about the new possible features that could be included in Apple's iPhone 5. iPhone 5 Release Date Earlier rumors were stating that details about Apple's iPhone 5 will be unveiled during the WWDC 2012. As seen from this event, no hint or even a mention of the iPhone 5 was included in the WWDC 2012 so this rumor can be crossed off the list. However, the rumors about a possible September - October release is growing stronger since iOS 6 will already be available around this time. Apple has already introduced iOS 6 to the public stating that there will be around 200 new features with this new iOS. These new features in iOS 6 includes Siri for other Apple devices, Apple's own Maps, Improved Facetime, and many more. Though iOS 6 is only available for developers as of the moment, Apple has already announced that the update will officially be available by fall which is also the rumored date for Apple's iPhone 5. Possible Features for iPhone 5 As iOS 6 have ushered down 200 features with its release, many people are anticipating that these new and improved features would also be available in iPhone 5. One of these rumored features include a possible new dock connector to the next generation iPhone. The new MacBook released are all equipped with a new MagSafe 2 power connector which will enable Apple devices to have a new revenue stream. This is also essential to iPhone models and there are rumors that Apple would provide the same feature to iPhone 5. This rumor coincides with the possibility that iPhone 5 will be slimmer and would have more "width"-something that Apple users have constantly requested from Apple. Other possible rumors for Apple's iPhone 5 includes having a larger screen size (3.99-inch or 4.1-inch) and utilizing A5x or A6 processor in order to support the additional features of Apple's iPhone 5. wholesale accessories, ipad accessories, ipod accessories, iphone accessories

iPhone 5 release date: “Fake” images to “weaker demand” analysis

Can’t wait for the iPhone 5? Well, one artist reportedly “fooled” some tech sites with his beautiful iPhone 5 concept based on leaked phone parts. Plus, one analyst said on-contract iPhones might affect the next iPhone’s sales. The iPhone 5, according to optimistic analysts, is expected to beat records and will generate additional smartphone market share for Apple. In short, the new iPhone will allow the phone and PC maker to create a new revenue stream, or customers who are willing to use their credit cards to purchase apps, music, buy TV shows and movies or rent it. However, one analyst thinks that carrier subsidies, or the on-contract iPhones, might slow down the sales of the iPhone 5. According to BGR, BTIG analyst Walter Piecyk thinks that carrier subsidy has a positive and negative impacts, he wrote citing AT&T chief executive Ralph de la Vega’s statement about subsidies. The positive impact is the cheaper iPhone price tag on contract. In United States, carriers offer the 16GB iPhone 4S for $199.99 with the 2-year contract agreement, plus the upcoming pre-paid iPhone 4 and 4S of regional and pre-paid carriers sporting the tag prices of $400 to $500. The disadvantage of the subsidized iPhones, according to Piecyk, is the duration of the contracts. For starters, new contracts for the iPhones in America require 2-year lockdown, and early termination will require additional charges which are considered “expensive.” Plus, if the customer wants the iPhone 5, then the customer must purchase the phone with no subsidy or terminate the line and sign up to a new one with the subsidized price. The solution, well, Apple’s partners must offer early iPhone promos to convince customers to upgrade to the latest device. However, according to Piecyk, AT&T is not convinced that customers are interested in paying early termination, and many are willing to wait just to obtain the full subsidy. Also, the iPhone 5 release date is rumored to be in October, and AT&T customers will not qualify for a cheaper upgrade. In related news, tech sites this week reported the computer renderings of one industrial designer featuring the next iPhone. However, some sites were fooled by the “perfect” images, according to Fox News, and some tech sites reportedly noted that the images are “leaked” and features the real iPhone 5. It is worth noting that artists love to illustrate the iPhone 5, from their ideas, or to their interpretation based on previous leaks and current rumors. (article continuation after the video). The new renders, apparently, are based on the leaked parts posted online about the iPhone 5′s rumored matte and metal back, the smaller dock connector, and its taller form that will reportedly wrap the larger display. The leaked parts are not “confirmed” so they must be taken with a grain of salt, including the beautiful renderings. Dutch designer Martin Hajek, the person who created the renderings, toldFox News that “it’s been amazing and a lot of fun to see how many ‘knowledgable’ people fell for them,” insulting “knowledgeable tech sites” like Gizmodo, BGR, Ubergizmo and Apple Insider. Maybe, many tech sites just love reporting all reports about the iPhone 5, including unconfirmed rumors, speculation, and also the analysis of experts from the “finance department.” He added that the response of several tech sites is a “a testimony to how embedded Apple has become in our daily life.” Gizmodo reportedly deleted its “leaked iPhone 5″ post containing the images, while other tech sites re-posted their articles to clarify that the images are concept images from one artist based on the leaked parts. wholesale accessories, ipad accessories, ipod accessories, iphone accessories

iPhone 5 Release Date and Rumors - New Back

According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Apple has a patent application for a device that features a removable back panel, allowing for easily replaceable parts. What's the device? Apple's not saying. It could be for anything from a camera, iPod, or even (be still my beating heart) the new iPhone. The patent details methods of upgrading a device with "supplementary optics." As reported pandaoo.com: "The digital imaging subsystem is typically enclosed within the case of the device to protect the digital imaging subsystem. The enclosure generally prevents direct access to the lens of the digital imaging subsystem for the purpose of providing any sort of supplementary optics, especially if the supplementary optics must be precisely aligned with the image sensor... It would be desirable to provide a structure for a compact device that allows the end user to reconfigure the optical arrangement of the device while retaining the benefits of assembling the device using a pre-assembled digital imaging subsystem. Apple detailed several features that could be added through the easily swappable supplementary optics, including: improved zoom capabilities, better shutter control, removable close-up lenses, and the addition of motion sensors, flashes, or a lens baffle. As an example, the report explained a removable IR cut-off filter that would allow "capturing black and white images at very low light levels. Without the IR-cut filter the camera's light sensitivity may extend to 0.001 lux or lower." What remains to be seen is, will this new panel be implemented in the new iPhone or some other device, or will it even be implemented at all? Apple has a history of filing for patents, but never implementing them. Why? Good business according to Michael Harper, who said, "Patents are more about running a good business than actually plans for future products. Apple can file patents for good and bad ideas alike. When they release a good product (as they're wont to do) they have the patent for it. If some bonehead somewhere decides to create a product that touches you back, guess who has the patent for it? That's right, Apple. Should this bonehead believe so deeply in his product that he decides to shell out some bucks, Apple gets paid and the bonehead gets his product. It's a win-win." Apple addicts are waiting with bated breath to hear something, ANYTHING about the new iPhone. But with today as the last day of Apple's WWDC, and Apple showing no signs of providing any details, let's hope those addicts aren't holding their breath. wholesale accessories, ipad accessories, ipod accessories, iphone accessories

iPhone 5 release date: Apple’s new MagSafe hints new dock connector too?

Apple’s new laptop computers feature a new MagSafe power connector. Is it possible that the iPhone 5 will get the same changes, and its own “converter” that will give Apple a new accessory revenue stream? The WWDC event of Apple this week revealed that all new Mac laptops are equipped with the new MagSafe 2 power connector, the magnetically attaching connectors that will protect the laptops from events like someone trips over the cord, or your dog pulls the cord, etc. But aside from changing the size of the MagSafe 2, which is now slimmer compared to the older version, Apple is also offering two MagSafe adapters, one with 45W and the other one supports 85W. The MacBook Air lineup uses the 45W MagSafe 2, while the MacBook Pros use the 85W. Apparently, the MacBook Air can also use the 85W MagSafe 2, but it can’t charge the laptop faster, while using the 45W MagSafe will charge the MacBook Pro slower. Fragmentation? Not really, but I consider this as a hint that Apple is open to changes, and the massive “resizing” will happen this year, including the iPhone 5 and its dock connector. If you’ve been following iPhone 5 rumors, then you’ll know that there’s a possibility that the next iPhone, or the iPhone 5, is set to introduce a new dock connector. Based on the leak posted in YouTube, the iPhone 5, reportedly getting an October release date, is introducing a new smaller dock connector. If accurate, then your old adapters from your old iPhone or iPad will not work, in case Apple will not introduce the iPhone’s own “converter.” For the benefit of some readers, Apple is currently selling a converter for the MagSafe 2 and MagSafe 1, it costs $10 each. According to Apple, the expensive converter “allows you to use the MagSafe connector on your LED Cinema Display, Thunderbolt Display, or MagSafe Power Adapter to charge your MagSafe 2-equipped Mac computer.” In short, many will buy the converter, including me, and it will give the company a new form of business. So, is Apple trying to hit two birds using a single stone? Maybe. According to experts, Apple is changing the dock connector to make the iPhone 5 slimmer and to minimize adding “width.” If the smaller dock connector rumor is true, then it will not only make the next iPhone a bit slimmer, but it will also give Apple a new source of revenue. Last month, Apple announced that it had sold 35.1 million iPhones during the first quarter of this year, the figure is 88 per cent higher from the same period a year ago. Let’s use the numbers of Q1 iPhone sales to see the impact of the new dock connector. If 50 per cent of the first quarter iPhone buyers will purchase the new iPhone with the dock connector, and 100 per cent of them will purchase the new converter (because they still want to use their old dock connectors), then it will give the company a shy $175 million in revenue. A large sum just by changing the dock connector. The numbers are hypothetical, but try to implement the same numbers to iPhone buyers last year to see the bigger picture. I am not an analyst, by the way. No word yet on the rumored new dock connector, but experts believe that it will ergonomically work, plus the fact that it will give the iPhone 5 a new experience. Also, Apple fans are asking for massive changes already, and it looks like Apple is granting their wishes this year, starting from theprofitable dock connector. sex toys, sex gadgets, adult toys

AT&T Samsung Galaxy S III Release Date and Main Feature Breakdown

The Samsung Galaxy S III for the AT&T 4G LTE network is offered in your choice of either Pebble Blue or Marble White colors, and is rumored to release somewhere between June 18 and June 21. AT&T has not given a specific launch date yet, but we do know a few of the main features the handset will offer. We found a current retail price of $199 on contract at select online retailers, but there is no word if the handset is the same price at other retailers or if that is a discounted prelaunch retail price. Both T-Mobile and Sprint have already officially announced the arrival of the Galaxy S III on their networks on June 21, so that lends some credence to that day as a launch date. A couple of technical specifications which are important and which have been confirmed are the presence of 2 GB of RAM memory for one of the first times in a US handset, high resolution display, fast processor and one of the largest screens in the entire 4G smartphone marketplace. The handset also delivers the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system out-of-the-box, complete with Samsung’s TouchWiz UX UI overlay. Surprisingly slim and light for all the hardware and software packed inside, the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S III measures only 0.34 inches (8.6 mm) and weighs only 4.69 ounces (133 g). The display is a full 4.80 inches, and renders visuals in more than 16 million separate colors and 306 pixels per inch. That creates an overall screen resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels on the Super AMOLED screen, which is protected by a layer of second generation Corning Gorilla Glass 2. Standard proximity and light sensors help conserve battery life on the oversized 2,100 mA cell, and there is no early word on battery performance. A Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon microchip package is on board to power the SGS III, and includes a dual core 1.5 GHz central processor and graphics dedicated Adreno 225 GPU. The above-mentioned 2.0 GB of RAM system memory is on board, as is 16 GB of built-in storage. A microSD slot provides storage expansion capabilities and off-board data access, and also supports microSDHC and microSDXC formats. An FM Stereo with RDS joins a proprietary YouTube video player and built-in music player in the multimedia package, and a rear mounted 8.0 megapixel camcorder provides simultaneous HD video and image recording, at a high resolution 1,080P HD. There is a front facing chat cam also on board, and the Samsung Galaxy S III for AT&T delivers Facebook, Picasa and Twitter social media applications out-of-the-box, as well as Near Field Communications (NFC) support. The Samsung Galaxy S III is available for pre-order starting at $199. wholesale accessories, ipad accessories, ipod accessories, iphone accessories
