The Samsung Galaxy Nexus has Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and a higher clocked 1.2GHz processor which is dual core and offers faster uploads than the 4S. Battery life is around 5 hours from a full charge when used normally though. The LED display of the iPhone is 960 x 640 and thanks to the Retina display, it has enough pixels to ensure pixelation is unnoticeable. The ambient light sensor will adjust the brightness of the screen, it has a multi-touch sensitive screen and there is a proximity sensor. The Nexus has a Super AMOLED display at 1280 x 720 and while it does not have the Retina display of the iPhone, it is gorgeous nonetheless. It also has an LED indicator which can be programmed to display a different color depending on the kind of notification (e.g. missed call, SMS, Gmail, etc). The user interface of the iPhone 4S is intuitive and nothing has changed from the other iterations of the iPhone. Quick access to the camera is a welcome feature when the screen is locked as is the notification area which drops down and is customizable. Siri can also be launched with just one click. The layout on the Nexus can take some time to learn but it is very customizable. It has widgets which can personalize the homescreens.
