US Samsung Galaxy S3 May Skip Quad-Core But Get Another Surprise

The Samsung Galaxy S3 finally debuted earlier this month and with it killed all rumors about the device. While we did see the 4.8-inch AMOLED display, quad-core processor and wireless charging, three other big rumors were shot down: the 12-megapixel camera, ceramic body and 2GB RAM. Now it looks like the latter has returned. US Samsung Galaxy S3 models may get 2GB RAM The intel comes via a recent announcement by Japanese carrier Docomo and Samsung that they too have swapped the quad-core processor in for a dual-core in order to make it compatible with Docomo’s LTE. In addition to that there is an added surprise, 2GB RAM. Given that we will find a similar situation here in the US for Verizon, Sprint and AT&T with their LTE bands, there is a strong chance that some if not all these dual-core Samsung Galaxy S3 variants get 2GB RAM as well.
