Samsung Galaxy S3 gets a free app for watching the Olympics
KOREAN PHONE MAKER Samsung has joined forces with Eurosport to bring a free app to the Galaxy S3, enabling owners of its flagship smartphone to watch the London 2012 Olympics for free.
It's available to download through either Samsung Apps or Google Play, and customers can subscribe to the Eurosport app for free between 14 July and 12 August, ideal for watching the 2012 Games free on the handset's vibrant 4.8in screen. If you want to carry on subscribing after 12 August, the service will cost £4.78 per month.
Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 will also be able to watch the games without access to a WiFi connection, with the app boasting support for 3G. However, we wouldn't recommend this unless you've got an unlimited data package, as it's likely to eat up your monthly allowance, and Google is promising "higher quality" images on a WiFi connection.
