iPhone 5 Release Date Hinted by Apple on iOS 6 Site
The new iPhone 5 release date has been speculated to be late August or September, according to a recent report by Sina.com. Analyst Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets picked up the report, and disclosed that only 30% of the iPhone batteries met Apple’s quality standards, thus making the August release of iPhone 5 unlikely to take place.

While the exact release date of iPhone 5 remains uncertain, a hasty retailer in China have begun to take pre-orders, according to Gotta Be Mobile. Sohu, a Chinese website, put up an ad for iPhone 5 pre-order deal, alongside a photo of an iPod Touch poster. .
The next-gen smartphone of Apple will allegedly sport 4-inch, edge-to-edge screen and a sleeker body.
Rumors also suggest that the iPhone 5 will come with 4G LTE, and a 19-pin dock connecter instead of their traditional 30-pin doc connector. It will sport a quad-core processor based on Samsung’s Exynos 4 architecture seen in Samsung Galaxy S3, according to DigiTimes’ industry sources.
