Best OS: ICS On Samsung Galaxy S3 Or iPhone iOS?

One of the most coveted handsets of this year is the Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android Ice Cream Sandwich, but how does the handset compare with others on the market including the iPhone with iOS? This is the question that we will try to answer. iOS vs Android: Samsung Galaxy S3 or iPhone 4S One of the biggest differences when pitting these two handsets against each other is their operating systems and the app stores. Apple always reigns over their App Store and they have the final say on what apps appear in there and which don’t. Google show leniency with their Play Store and users are able to submit apps and this generally leads to many weird and wonderful apps along with the not so good waltzing in. iOS is the easier of the two operating systems to learn and users are able to move their icons around the screen or put them into groups by way of folders. If its customization you want then you have it on the lock screen and home screen and you can change the wallpaper. Android on the other hand can do as this and it can do plenty more. For instance you have launchers and icons which the user is able to change. Then there are widgets, 3rd party keyboards, etc. Therefore, Android is the choice if you wish to be able to customize your operating system. Another factor which has to be taken into account is updates. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is expected to get the latest update to 4.1 Jelly Bean later this year, but how quickly future updates will come is anyone’s guess. Apple are well known for pushing out updates fast so users of the iPhone have no worries over getting the latest update to their handset (as long as your unit isn’t ancient). The Samsung Galaxy S3 is popular right now but what about in another years’ time when there are newer models on the scene? iPhones are always popular and right now fans of Apple are waiting for the latest generation iPhone, the iPhone 5, which is expected to be released very soon. Unlike the S3, the iPhone 5 won’t get trumped by another better iOS phone until another year. Which of these handsets is the best depends on the personal taste of the individual and what you want in terms of looks and design of a handset. iOS remains easier to use but then Android gives users more control. Buying the latest iOS phone means lesser chance of buyer’s remorse than if you did the same with an Android device.
