iPhone 5 Or Samsung Galaxy S3: Best Bang For Your Buck

Fans of Apple will argue with fans of Windows about which of the operating systems is the best. The same applies with iOS and the Android operating system. So which is the best buy? Will the iPhone 5 or the Samsung Galaxy S3 give you the best bang for your buck? iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S3 Cost has to be a factor when considering purchasing a new handset. If buying the new iPhone 5 when it is released it would have to be the 64GB version of the handset due to the amount of media and pictures I have gathered over my iPhones in the past and are sitting in my iTunes account. There is also the fact that the iPhone never supported external microSD cards.. The cost for the iPhone 4S at the moment with 16GB is around $199 on a contract of two years. There is also the 32GB and 64GB version, with the 64GB being $399. Therefore it is safe to say that the 64GB version of the new iPhone 5 will be around the same $400 price point. On the other hand if I had to choose an Android handset then it would be the Samsung Galaxy S3 naturally. The phone has expandable memory, which is a bonus over the iPhone 5, and the 16GB is $199 and the 32GB on Verizon is $249. The memory can also be expanded to another 64GB with MicroSD card. This means that I would be able to purchase the 16GB and a 64GB card and have total capacity of 80GB for less than the price of the 32GB iPhone 5. You then have to bear in mind that the Samsung Galaxy S3 is on the bleeding edge of technology and according to all the iPhone 5 leaks and rumors to date, it will merely match the S3 in terms of hardware. Furthermore, rumors of Apple switching to a 19-pin dock connector suggests that your current iOS accessories would be obsolete, unless you plunk down some extra cash for an adapter. If this is the case then the Samsung Galaxy S3 will certainly appear to be the better deal for your pocket.
