Can iPhone 5 Really Cut It Against Samsung Galaxy S3?

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is definitely one of the hottest phones of 2012, so does the iPhone 5 have any chance of beating it? Let’s take a look at the confirmed specs of the US Galaxy S3 and the specs we think are likely to belong to the iPhone 5. Rumors are usually better than the reality, but for the sake of argument, we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt here. Samsung Galaxy S3 vs iPhone 5 The Samsung Galaxy S3 has a lovely 4.8” screen – Super AMOLED with 310ppi and 1280×720. It’s thought that the iPhone 5 will sport a bigger screen than its predecessors – probably around 4”, with most likely a 1280x720p, 367ppi resolution. It’s debatable as to whether the human eye needs a higher resolution than 310, and it’s also debatable that people want a 4.8” or bigger screen. It’s thought that the iPhone 5 will have the A5X processor, compared to the dual-core Snapdragon in the S3. Both chips will be superb, and only benchmark tests will be able to choose a winner. However, the flexibility each chip gives to the OS will be the real world test. When the Samsung Galaxy S3 came out it had the latest Android OS, and the iPhone 5 is bound to sport iOS 6. JellyBean has been announced recently, so the S3 is, for the moment, behind the times, but an update is expected soon. The Samsung Galaxy S3 isn’t in the Nexus series, so if you’re into updates, go for the iPhone 5. The Samsung Galaxy S3 camera is 8MP and has a burst mode and no shutter lag. The new iPhone 5 is expected to have an 8MP camera as well, so this may end up as a tie. In terms of storage the Samsung Galaxy S3 comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions, with SD Card support. The iPhone 5 may well lack the external storage options just like everyone of its predecessors. The Samsung Galaxy S3 software tweaks include S-Beam, S-Voice, Pop Up Play and Smart Stay, and the iPhone 5 will probably have Siri 2.0, Universal Remote Control, Face Unlock and a host of unknowns. Apple fans will insist that the iPhone 5 will trounce the Samsung Galaxy S3, but Android fans will not be parted from their S3s. With the Samsung Galaxy S3 being so popular right now, Apple will have to come up with something more than just another in-line upgrade which the 4S was seen over the iPhone 4. wholesale accessories, ipod accessories, ipad accessories, iphone accessories
