Samsung Galaxy S3 vs iPhone 5: Why I Went With S3

There’s loads of excitement around the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the iPhone 5, but right now the Samsung Galaxy S3 is the market’s most powerful handset. This phone has made record sales and is still popular enough to persuade many to buy it right now rather than hang on for the iPhone 5 or the Note 2. Samsung Galaxy S3 vs iPhone 5: Why I bought the S3 You have to remember that there’s at least another month before Apple unveils the iPhone 5, which then means at least another month before it gets into the hands of the majority of customers. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is already here, with all the bells and whistles, so what’s not to like? Yes, the iPhone 5 is believed to have a 4-inch display, faster processor, 4G LTE and more RAM… but how is that any better than what the Samsung Galaxy S3 is already offering?. The Samsung Galaxy S3 can be charged wirelessly, and it’s thought that the iPhone 5 won’t have this facility. The S3’s battery is also removable, and Apple seems to be resistant to removable batteries. Apple phones also lack external SD card support, but the Samsung Galaxy S3 doesn’t. The Samsung Galaxy S3 also has HDMI output which is great for people who want to attach their phone to a large screen TV. Apple doesn’t have this as a rule and it doesn’t look like the iPhone series will inherit it anytime soon. The screen of the Samsung Galaxy S3 is also much larger than the iPhone 5 is expected to have. Android 4.1 JellyBean will be coming to the Samsung Galaxy S3 any week now, with the T-Mobile version already leaked, and this update will be bringing extras like Google Now and an S-Voice update. Apparently, the voice on S-Voice is more nicer to listen to than the one on Siri as it appears natural. So, despite iPhone 5 getting a lot of attention, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is still selling well, and for good reason. Sure, this may just be what I told myself so I could get the Samsung Galaxy S3 right now instead of waiting for the iPhone 5 to be unveiled and making a more informed decision. But I don’t think I will regret my decision. 。
