iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 2: Release date, features and other rumors

Samsung is launching a new smartphone reportedly before the October quarter to compete with the next iPhone 5. Here’s the latest rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the next-gen tab-phone of the mobile phone giant. Siri says she’s excited about the next Samsung refrigerator (see video in the middle), but sadly, Samsung is not launching the first Android-based fridge yet. The good news, at least for Android fans, more rumors appear online claiming that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 2 soon. According to latest rumors posted online, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 2 in August at the IFA event in Europe similar to the company’s 2011 Galaxy Note schedule. The device will reportedly include a 5.5-inch HD display, and may include a quad-core CPU (for the international variant) similar to the processor of the brand new Samsung Galaxy S3 — the Exynos quad-core system-on-a-chip. 12-megapixel camera and better build quality are also reportedly in tow. But the biggest “thing” surrounding the Galaxy Note 2 is its mobile operating system. Hush hush online suggest that Samsung will use Google’s latest version of Android which include the Siri competitor “Google Now,” and other features like project butter, new camera app, new notification tray and more — the Android Jelly Bean. So, Samsung will not update the Galaxy S3 to Jelly Bean yet and will release a new device first? We love the Galaxy Note 2 idea, but we love the Jelly Bean on Galaxy S3 more. We think the better strategy is to update the Samsung Galaxy S3′s mobile operating system from ICS to Jelly Bean FIRST, before releasing a new device with Android Jelly Bean in it. According to Samsung, they’ll reach the 10 million Galaxy S3 sales mark by the end of this month, and it will put the new smartphone in the “successful category.” Can the Galaxy Note 2 beat the iPhone 5? I think it is safe to bet that Samsung will launch the Note 2 in United States by October with Long Term Evolution in tow, and the device will compete with the iPhone 5 of Apple that will reportedly arrive right after the release of the iOS 6. Apart from competing with the iPhone 5, the new Samsung tablet will also compete with Google’s new inexpensive Nexus 7 which runs the real version of Android Jelly Bean. If the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will arrive to stores around October, then it will join a crowded market filled with cheap tablets with powerful processors and the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system. 。 wholesale accessories, ipod accessories, iphone accessories, ipad accessories
