iPhone 5 vs Samsung Galaxy S3 more than features, while patent war ignites again

Whilst rumor-mongers talk about the iPhone 5 and its features, Samsung Galaxy S3 rakes in more revenue. Meanwhile, multiple sites report Apple and Samsung’s patent war, Google unsurprisingly mentioned. A new report by NY Times, Wall Street Journal and other sites today reveal that Samsung and Apple’s war is not just in the smartphone market share, and unsurprisingly, the rivalry isuglier in the courtroom. According to Apple’s trial briefs now available online, search engine giant Google reportedly warned Samsung that the original Samsung Galaxy S, the Galaxy Tab and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 too closely resembled Apple’s iPhone and iPad. The briefs also added that Samsung has planned to copy the original iPhone (the 2007 model). Meanwhile, Samsung’s trial briefs reveals that Apple “refined other ideas, but borrowed them” citing Sony’s influence on the iPhone and its less-button approach. Here’s the part of the documents, first, Apple’s briefs: Samsung’s documents show that Samsung developed and released products that look almost identical to Apple’s, despite repeated warnings that Samsung’s products were too similar. As part of a formal, Samsung-sponsored evaluation, famous designers warned Samsung that the Galaxy S “looked like it copied the iPhone too much,” and that “innovation is needed.” The designers explained that the appearance of the Galaxy S “resembles the iPhone shape so as to have no distinguishable elements,” and “[a]ll you have to do is cover up the Samsung logo and it’s difficult to find anything different from the iPhone.” Here’s a part of Samsung’s: For good measure, Apple seeks to exclude Samsung from the market, based on its complaints that Samsung has used the very same public domain design concepts that Apple borrowed from other competitors, including Sony, to develop the iPhone. Apple‘s own internal documents show this. In February 2006, before the claimed iPhone design was conceived of, Apple executive Tony Fadell circulated a news article that contained an interview of a Sony designer to Steve Jobs, Jonathan Ive and others. In the article, the Sony designer discussed Sony portable electronic device designs that lacked excessive ornamentation such as buttons, fit in the hand, were square with a screen and had corners [which] have been rounded out. Immediately after this article was circulated internally, Apple industrial designer Shin Nishibori was directed to prepare a Sony-like design for an Apple phone and had CAD drawings and a three-dimensional model prepared. Note: We removed the exhibit numbers (because we’re not in a courtroom). Fierce Samsung Galaxy S3 vs iPhone 5 by the end of this year According to the latest sales numbers and channel checks, Samsung’s Galaxy S3 is outselling the iPhone 4S specifically in AT&T and Verizon Wireless markets. Citing some analysts, reports say the iPhone’s decline in sales is related to rumors about the iPhone 5 which will reportedly arriving by the end of October. Samsung reportedly achieved 10 million sales within the first 60 days of the Samsung Galaxy S3 in the market, possibly one of the biggest single Android phone sales number to date, beating Samsung’s older phones like the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note, and of course, the original Galaxy S. Apart from the Samsung Galaxy S3, Apple’s iPhone 5 might face a new Samsung phone, reportedly called the Galaxy Note 2, giving Samsung an advantage by introducing a “variety.” Samsung’s move is interesting as there was no reason release a new device mainly due to the Samsung Galaxy S3′s early success, but if the Galaxy Note 2 rumors are accurate, then it looks like the South Korean giant is “planning something” to stop Apple and its anticipated Q4 smartphone domination. The Samsung Galaxy S3 sports a unique design, curved sides, elongated home button, thinner profile, no “hump” and larger display. Last quarter, an Android-fan blog, Android Police, has accused Samsung of allowing lawyers to design the Samsung Galaxy S3. “This thing is a Samsung lawyer’s dream,” claims Ron Amadeo whilst adding all the small details that Samsung has tweaked including the slopes and angles of the rounded corners down to app icons now with no square backgrounds. He added, “When Apple started patent trolling, they basically admitted they weren’t going to win in an open market, and they decided to drag Samsung down with them. The crazy thing is, Samsung is letting them.” Now, consumers and tech sites are very excited to see what the iPhone 5 and its widely anticipated “redesign,” and if it is better than Samsung’s. 。 sex gadget, sex toy, adult toy
